Clowning Around
A little blog/scrapbook where I tell the tales of my clowning adventures
Egg Fest
April 5th, 2026
For me and my chosen family, easter really is about the eggs. For our easter celebration
this year, I brought about two dozen deviled eggs as an appetizer, and after a lovely
home cooked meal, made by my friend’s mom, we all sat around the table and dyed easter
eggs together! (i brought a little circus clownery into mine
)
(This one turned out so cursed lmao)
On a personal note...
Growing up christian, there was always so much pressure to treat easter as a religious
celebration. Being a non-religious person, myself, I really stopped caring about easter
for a long time, but it's been so healing to spend it with the people I love the last
couple years, and I love getting to see my friends’ creativity!
Happy Easter!
Lincoln Park
Zoo/Conservatory
April 4th, 2026
I had never been to Lincoln Park, and for my birthday, I thought it would be fun to go
clown around there! It was absolutely beautiful! I love nature, so it was really nice
being amongst all the animals and plants. In spite of all the stares and comments from
the normies, it was a day full of friends, fun, and whimsy! My umbrella, in combination
with the chicago wind, made for the perfect clown gag! One of my friends gave me a cozy
clown poncho with bells as a birthday gift, and it totally completed the look! It also
came in handy, because I was NOT dressed for the cold
As an avid cat
lover, it was so fucking cool seeing the lions up close!
This zebra stood like this for at least an hour.
